EU and Russia signing an agreement on cooperation in space
On August 19 Russian Roskosmos and the European Space Agency signed an agreement on cooperation in the project «Phobos-soil» and «Ekzomars».
The project will transfer an automatic device to the Mars to hold a series of works to explore the surface of the planet.
At the moment the program cost is estimated 1.2 billion euro. The European Space Agency is ready to invest 1 billion. The missing funds will be provided by the United States and Russia.
