Today we are making another step in the way of collaboration of the Russian regions and countries of the European Union.

Regional collaboration is one of the key conditions of the strategic development in the modern world. It contributes to the consolidation of thorough connections between the regions as well as between the states in whole.
Every region whether in our country or European countries is undoubtedly unique and every leader of any constituent entity of any state tries to do everything possible for its entity to be prosperous. But principles of prosperity, stimulation of investment attractiveness, investment development of any constituent entity are undoubtedly individual. This event is held in Russia for the first time whereas for the European Union such events are regular. There are a lot of positive comments about such events because regions’ representatives have an opportunity to communicate on the level of authorities, Chambers of Commerce and Industry, business and etc, to exchange experience and to verify their way of investment activity.
Role of exhibition-congress activity in interregional and international collaboration development by example of the Privolzhskiy Federal Okrug (PFO)
I would not like to look discourteous in the eyes of conference organizers criticizing the huge amount of preliminary work done by them but the title of the section in which we participate, in my opinion does not formulate the heart of the matter exactly. It reflects not so much the actual state of affairs as offers the desirable formula of organization of informatization process. And that is why it would be reasonable to change the title of the section.
In compliance with program for trade development passed on 9th of April this year by the Government of the Russian Federation, Ministry is working out “strategy of trade development in the Russian Federation for 2010-2015”. It shall continue that vector of movement which trading field will get upon acceptance of new Law “Basis of government regulation of trading activity in the Russian Federation” and it shall become a part of “Strategy of long-term social-economic development of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2020”. This document shall present vision of the trade in 5 years, general schedule of government actions, supporting trade development.
